Ahh Milano! If this time last year someone told me that I would be going to Italy 2 times in the next year, I probably would have laughed in their face with utter disbelief! But to my surprise, and shock, it happened! If you follow me on Instagram, then you would be well aware that I have just returned from probably one of my biggest trips I’ve taken. I was given the incredible opportunity to attend a Study Abroad program with my university. For those who don’t know, I’m in my final year of Business Marketing at uni. This trip was an absolute whirlwind, as we visited Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein, meeting and learning from marketing executives & other members of huge global companies. The trip itself was absolutely incredible, but how could anyone possibly go on a 24hr flight and not do a little extra travelling? Well, that’s what I thought. And plus, I have two siblings living in Europe, so it would be rude not to do something with them, right? So I booked a trip to Italy (with my brother) and a trip to France (with my sister and friend), to make this trip even more exciting.
So, after that complete ramble, the first location I had the chance to see was Milan. My second time in Italy and my first time in Milan. My brother and I caught the train from Buochs, Switzerland all the way to Milan. I mean how cool is that! 3 hours on a train and oh, hey, welcome to Italy! I was pretty bloody excited just about that fact, let alone the beauty that is Milan. Our few days in the city were some of my favourite, proving once again, that I think I have just a little bit of Italian in me. I just can’t get enough of that country. Anyway, here are some photos I took while in Milan. More about our adventures to come in next weeks post!
