3INA makeup (pronounced Mina) is an amazing new Greek makeup brand that has hit Europe. While in London recently, I stumbled across their lone London store in Covent Garden. Finding a new makeup brand that I haven’t heard a thing about, is extremely rare these days and is so exciting. The excitement was not let down as it’s safe to say 3INA does not disappoint. With sleek black and white packaging, an array of products for all needs, cruelty free, fantastic quality, and all at a drugstore price point, what more could you want?
The Lipsticks: I bought both a sheer formula as well as an opaque matte in order to test the differences across the types of lipsticks (and well, I just couldn’t resist). The sheer formula lipstick is slightly drying however, the shade is a beautiful pink ‘my lips but better’ shade (unfortunately with no shade name or number) and leaves a beautiful stain once the lipstick had worn off. So overall, it’s a lipstick I have been reaching for. The matte more opaque lipstick definitely is a bold lip, suitable for a night out or special occasion. This one is a favourite for sure. The lipstick is so much more moisturising than a lot of other brands I’ve tried and secondly, the rich pigmented brown is spot on for giving you whiter teeth. So thumbs up for the lipsticks.
The Mascara: I purchased the ‘Defining Mascara’ in black. This mascara was honestly a let down. I think it does have the potential to be good and am wondering if it is the particular one I chose. The formula is fabulous-doesn’t smudge and holds a curl. The wand on the other hand is pretty hopeless. I just feel like it doesn’t do anything for my lashes. It is almost so natural that it looks like I don’t have any mascara on at all. The brush is incredibly flimsy and light, so it doesn’t have the ability to cling onto the lashes. So unfortunately, it’s a thumbs down for this mascara.
The Blush: boy oh boy this 3INA blush is brilliant. With a finely milled powder formula, a fantastic shade range, incredible staying power and ability to be blended, this really is a winning product. I got the shade 103 and it is a beautiful dark rose shade. This blush gets a massive thumbs up!
The Eyeliner: I may or may not have gotten this eyeliner as a free gift for spending too much in store (whoops), but I’m so glad I was in a spending mood that day. The eyeliner is an automatic eye pencil that is beyond creamy. I’m going to say it is creamier than my Charlotte Tilbury one…big call, I know! And not only is it incredibly creamy, but it lasts all day long without budging. I got an deep dark brown shade and am honestly wishing I picked up 2 cause I love it so much.
The Eyeshadow Stick: An eyeshadow stick is one of my most loved makeup products. Oh so convenient and easy to use, why would I ever want to use a powder eyeshadow again. The 3INA eyeshadow stick I bought is a stunning champagne shade, goes on really well and is very bendable. Oh and the main thing, it even looks perfect at the end of a long day without even priming your eyelids beforehand. Therefore, this eyeshadow stick most definitely gets a thumbs up.
Well there you have it. A run down of the fabulous new brand 3INA, which I like to refer to as Greece’s version of Kiko. I cannot wait to go to the new Melbourne store that has opened next time I venture down to that area of Australia! With only one miss, it’s safe to say 3INA is a brand that is going to become very popular, very soon! Get on it…you’ll absolutely love it!
