If you know me, I mean really really know me, then you will already realise that I am obsessed with finding bargains and get seriously excited when I score a deal. So, with this in mind, I thought why not share my bargaining ways with all of you! It would be rude to keep it to myself…
Firstly, I think it is extremely important to realise that paying less does NOT mean you have to skimp on quality. So with this in mind, you don’t want to settle for paying full price at the first store you see a product. Hunt around because there will always be a sale somewhere-trust me!! Also, don’t look at a product that you really want and think that you can’t buy it because it is out of your price range, because somewhere it will be in your budget!
Today I put my bargaining shopping in action and found myself some fantastic products to try at extremely low prices!! I purchased a number of products to try out, so keep a look out for reviews.
Firstly I visited Chemist Warehouse where I bought the new Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and Hypersharp Liner pack ($11.90) and the new Maybelline Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($21.99). Both of these products have just landed in Australia, so if you want them and don’t want to pay a crazy expensive price, go to Chemist Warehouse and just try to ignore the large number of pink stickers.
Next up was Priceline. However, I didn’t choose just any Priceline to go to…I went to Priceline Wynnum, located in one of Brisbane’s outer suburbs. If you have the time I highly recommend shopping at a Priceline that is further out from the city as they tend to have a lot more sales! Trust me, it is so worth the effort! Here I bought 2 Grown Alchemist Vanilla and Orange Peel Hand Creams (2 for $10)
the St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion for Face and the St Tropez Self Tan Sensitive Bronzing Lotion (both in 2 for $10).
For all products in total I paid $53.98.
If I bought these products elsewhere I would have paid:
- Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and Hypersharp Liner pack $24.99
- Maybelline Nude Eyeshadow Palette $25.95
- Grown Alchemist Vanilla and Orange Peel Hand Cream $24.99 x 2
- St Tropez Self Tan Sensitive Bronzing Lotion $49.99
- St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion for Face $39.99
So full price, in total I would have had to play $190.90.
I ended up saving a MASSIVE 72%!!!!!!And that right there is a bargain!
Let me know if you have any tips for bargain shopping or if you’ve scored any amazing deals lately! We’ve got to help each other out!
