So the countdown until the end of 2014 begins… Once again, I cannot believe it is already the end of the month and what’s more shocking, is it’s already December! WHAT! Shock aside, November has been a jammed packed month, full of makeup purchases and travel. This month I have made some amazing discoveries- both new and old…so here they!
Rings: Rings are not a new obsession for me, however, there was a period there where my fingers remained bare. During November it occurred to me that I had not been donning some of my favourite jewellery and so something had to be done. I once again reached for my favourite rings every day. These ones are from Pigeon Hole, ASOS and The Silver Shop. My favourite ones have to be the cute, dainty, silver rings- they can literally be worn with anything.
Glasshouse Candle: Being the candle lover that I am, I am always on the look out for new, delicious smelling candles. Any Glasshouse candle will treat you with an amazing scent, however, this one in Passionfruit Lime is the perfect combination of sweet and citrus. These candles are some of my absolute favourites as the scent completely fills the room and they can burn for hours!
Cos Earrings: On the last day that I was in Melbourne this month, the famous store, Cos, had their grand opening for their first store in Australia. I honestly don’t think there was anyone more excited for this day than me. One of the purchases I made whilst in a frenzy from finally being in the store, were these amazing earrings. They are silver logs (let’s just roll with that) that sit on your ear very nicely! I was incredibly surprised at how reasonable the prices were at Cos as I was expecting the opposite. I love these earrings and will definitely be wearing them over the months to come.
Rimmel Eye shadow and Blush: If you follow me on Instagram (@dailyclaud), you would have seen that early this month, I may have done a mini Rimmel haul. Firstly, I’m so glad that I did and secondly, these products are amazing! I bought the blush Pink Rose as I had seen various beauty bloggers talking about it and it looked beautiful! Having used it all month, I have to say it is quickly becoming one of my favourite blushes. It is generously pigmented (careful- you don’t need much) and creates a beautiful colour on your cheeks. It is the perfect nude blush when applied – think Mac Patisserie for your cheeks, if that can even exist in the blush world. On top of this amazing blush, I also purchased the eye shadow quad in 002 Smokey Brun. This quad was pretty much the only eye shadow that I used during November, and in particular the champagne colour on the left. These eye shadows have great pigmentation and last all day on my eyes without creasing (when using a primer).
Australis Primer: As the weather is getting even hotter, I have definitely noticed that my makeup has begun slipping off my face and seriously I do not want that happening. Having never been a primer wearing gal, I really noticed the difference that wearing one makes. This month I have been using the Australis Primer. As I do not own any other product from this brand, I have been pleasently surprised at how amazing this primer is. It does not leave any greasy residue, or feel like you’re applying a silcone layer to your skin. This primer feels as though you have applied another layer of moisturiser and provides a great base for foundation. On top of this, my foundation does not budge when I wear this- even in 42 degree heat! Definitely one to add to your shopping list!
Maybelline Baby Lips: Last, but certainly not least, the Maybelline Baby Lips. I have been a lover of the tinted Baby Lips line for a while now and was seriously missing them as they do not sell them in Australia. However, that all changed this month when the Electric Pop range was released. I bought the shade Pink Shock and own the original formula in the shade Raspberry, that I purchased in the States. These tinted lip balms provide the perfect wash of pink to the lips (yes, the two shades are basically the same colour) but feel as though you have only applied a healing lip balm. I love them!
I definitely loved a lot of things this month! What did you fall in love with this November?
