I know I say this every month, but…how is October over already?! October has been a month where jeans have officially become a no go zone for any outfit choice, ice coffees have made an appearance and a lot of planning for the future has occurred (get excited). I may not have many monthly favourites this time round, but I can honestly say, I love them all so much! So here they are…
iPhone 6: Technically this should have been in my September favourites as I got this for my birthday, however, October was the month where the screen size suddenly became normal and I figured out how to type a message without using both hands. But seriously, I do love my new phone and having upgraded from the iPhone 4, everything loads at lightning speed, that I didn’t think was possible.
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow Quad: this eyeshadow quad, along with my next favourite, have made an appearance on my eyes numerous times this month. I have especially been loving the purple/taupe shade called Iridescent Violet (26) as it really brings out the green in my eyes. These eyeshadows are so buttery and stay on your lids all day without creasing. I like to put the purple/taupe shade all over the lid, and a little of the lightest shade (Sugar Cube 30) in my inner corner to brighten things up. This combined with some smudged out brown eyeliner is perfection.
Play 101 Pencil in Dark Brown: As you may have seen in this post a couple of months ago, I went shopping at W Cosmetics and bought this brown pencil eyeliner. After putting it to the test for a good little while now, I can definitely say it is an amazing product. It is very creamy and works really well when you want more of a smudge eyeliner look. The colour is perfect for those with hazel or green eyes; it just makes them pop! Considering this eyeliner was only around the $10 mark, it sure is one that all should try if you have access to the brand.
Seafolly Madagascar Sunglasses: I had been wanting some new sunglasses for spring and summer for quite sometime, so when I stumbled across these ones I was over the moon. They are the perfect ’round but not too bug like’ shape, which I love! They are not the best quality, but for the price, they are just sturdy enough. These will definitely be a part of my spring/summer staples.
England and Germany Trip 2015: Now, I have certainly saved the most exciting favourtie till the very end. My family and I have book our flights and begun planning our trip to England and Germany for 2015! I couldn’t be more excited to visit this part of the world! Now it’s time to go through every one of Essie Button’s, Vivianna Does Makeup’s and Lily Pebbles’ blog posts and try and narrow down the best places to go to in London. Luckily these three exist on the internet, otherwise who knows what we would do while we’re over there. The countdown is on and I can’t wait to go!
So there you have it! Another monthly favourites post done and dusted.
