This month I feel like I have been reaching for the same things over and over again, so I thought I would share some of them with you. I haven’t really done any posts like this on my blog yet, but I love to read about others favourties of the month, so I decided to give it a whirl here on my blog…I hope you enjoy it!
1) Sinful Colours Nail Polish in ‘Unicorn’
This colour is the perfect mix of pastel and neon. I have been absolutely loving this colour as the weather starts to warm up and have been finding myself wanting to reach for it every time I go to paint my nails (which just so happens to be every 2 days :P).
2) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
This has to be without a doubt one of the best books I have read in a very long time. This is the type of book that you do not want to put down. It’s an emotional roller coaster that you just want to continue riding. After reading this book I cannot wait for the movie to come out next month.
3) Maybelline ‘The Rocket’ Mascara
My oh my. I don’t even have words for this beautiful piece of makeup! This mascara lengthens, volumises and separates! And on top of that it simply comes off with water in the shower! Oh and did I mention it is $5 from Walmart. I mean seriously people, it doesn’t get muc h better than this in the makeup world. However, I did just find out that this mascara does NOT exist in Australia. It’s safe to say I’ll be stocking up on this one before I go home in 2 weeks!
4) Mocha Frappaccino from Starbucks
You may remember this one from my Easter post but I couldn’t help but mention it again because I love it so very much! Mocha Frappaccino’s from Starbucks are seriously amazing and definitely help with my coffee cravings, seeing as I haven’t been able to have a good cup of coffee in 5 months! All I can say is, I’m extremely glad I can only make it to starbucks about once a month because otherwise I would be pilling on the kilos from these bad boys.
5) Top Knot
I know this favourite sounds extremely strange but for me it is a triumph and a moment that needs to be shared. I have been growing out my fringe for the past 4.5 months and just recently I have FINALLY been able to tie my hair up in a bun without any of the straggely bits flying out. It is a beautiful feeling!
6) Boots Botanics Cleansing Balm
I only recently purchased this item when on one of my regular trips to target with my friends (you never know what gem you’ll find there. Sounds weird…but trust me). This is a product that is sold in England but has recently made its way over into Target in America and boy oh boy am I glad it did before I left the US. It not only costs $8 but it is so fantastic on the skin- it cleans out your pours so well but in a way that isn’t drying at all.
7) Sony Headphones
These have come in very handy over the past month as I have been travelling across South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee for tennis. These Sony Headphones are so incredibly comfortable and, to me, produce great sound. And I also love the way they look! It may sound a little weird, but these headphones allow me to bring out my inner Vika (tennis player) and I loveee it!
I hope you liked this post! If you did, I might make it a regular feature on my blog!
